Something was wrong; Milton just knew it.
He tried to push himself up again, a little more careful this time. The dizziness was easier to handle than before, the nausea barely noticeable – and that was a good thing because only a moment later, the living room door opened and Sam came in, her arm wrapped around Mike’s back, supporting him. Milton’s stomach dropped.
“Oh my – what happened?” he croaked out. His voice was so hoarse from disuse it made Mike look up. Milton winced when he saw how red his eyes were and how raw his skin looked.
'The Arctic,' he remembered in horror. 'Frostbite.'
