I wasn’t sure how to have either brother retired because i’m kinda like Jared and Jensen in that I can never picture the boys not hunting. They would have to be dead to not hunt. So I tweaked it a little where one of them is gravely injured and unable to hunt for a few weeks. And I wrote it without a reader-insert since it seems like that’s what the requester wanted. Hope that’s okay!
