Night Shift

Steven would notice. Ever since the man had begun suspecting his sleeping disorder, he had been diligent in his investigations. Steven would inspect every nook and cranny of his apartment, searching for any clues left behind by his sleepwalking self. He would undo the ankle restraint, step over the sand pile, peel the tape off the door, search around the apartment while talking to Gus or his mother’s voicemail, and unlock the three separate locks before heading out for work. He had fallen into a careful routine, and Marc would be foolish to undermine his equally careful hiding due to some dirt.
