Summary
Rei Oohashi and Misaki Nakahara go looking for the Tsuchinoko in the woods one summer afternoon. While no supernatural serpents lurk in the shadows, a earnest heart to heart between close queer friends gives some insight into what Misaki Nakahara was like in life, what his relationship to Rei was, and how Reis experiences in her past life informed who she would become when reincarnated as Rae Taylor in the main story. There will be discussions of both Rei and Misaki's hardships as LGBT individuals living in Japan, as well as feelings of isolation and yearning.
