Summary
Leaves rustled under the twirling breeze of the night as two brothers walked gradually toward home, weighed down by the injuries of a night both of them wished they wouldn’t have to remember. Seasoning City’s horizon laid flat beside the outstretching ocean, the two halves of the city split by a river edged in hard concrete and crossed by glittering iron bridges. The black clouds curled past the twinkling stars, casting darkened shadows over the road and blocking the filtering moonlight that danced over the edges of the surroundings.
