And with the girl here, perhaps there was some small part in him that felt it was worth sticking around, at least, for a little bit longer, just for a laugh. Even if she was a pain in the ass. Her kindness and perseverance throughout her entire journey baffled him. It almost angered him. How could he, and everyone else here, have hurt her so badly, and yet she continued on her way through something that would have ended so many humans before her? Every monster here in Snowdin town could kill her so easily, pull the skin from her bones before she even had a moment to scream, and yet, she still stuck around? It confused him greatly, but after she offered him that food…he couldn't take it. Just left and went to Grillby's as he always did, surrounded by silence and the wheezing breaths of the bartender of the voice that was gone from screaming for so long.
