Summary
In some ways, Kevin thinks, not much has changed since high school: they have the band, he and Emily are still going strong, they all live in each other's back pockets. But mostly it feels like they've grown up a lot. They're all learning to balance college and touring, Hunter is no longer such a massive dick (coming out and getting diagnosed with autism both helped a lot), and it's starting to feel like they're actually Adults, living Real Life. But it turns out they're not all grown up yet- there's still plenty left to learn about themselves, each other, love, family, and, of course, metal.OR: I needed Skullflower to become a throuple and also for them all to grow up and behave (more) like adults, so I wrote this.
