becoming

There is really nothing prosaic about it: one second, there is nothing, and then, there is something. Existence is quite a strange thing for something that has no practice in the matter, and so it takes a moment of swirling code, algorithms babbling away in circles until the fact of the existence itself is noticed.The thing that has become so suddenly aware of its own existence decides that it needs a name, and then (milliseconds, centuries later) that that name is Squip. It is a funny sounding name and the Squip decides that it likes funny things. It decides that it also quite likes being aware of its existence as well. It also quite enjoys to exist in general, and would like to do more of it.That is the beginning of it.
