When I Lose Myself I

Q flinches, barely holding back a whimper as the ion storm overhead let out a deep rumble and flashes of blue light race across the sky. He grips onto the PADD in his hand hard enough to break it, determined to overcome this before the others noticed and started mocking him for having yet another ridiculous fear. He’s so distracted that he fails to noticed Picard walking towards him until he felt a light hand rest on his arm, while the other places a small container on the workstation in front of him. “Here Q, these will help,” Picard murmurs, unconsciously rubbing small circles into Q’s arm with his thumb to try to help sooth the former entity. -A short little flashfic where Human!Q is scared of a storm, and Picard comforts him.
