The gentle art of falling in love

Lance opens his eyes and looks at Keith. He looks pale, ethereal almost ghostly. Lance swallows hardly and pulls his face back, eyes still lingering on Keith. There's a tremendous world living inside of him, a world that strictly loves the faded frame in front of him. Lance brings his hand to cup Keith's shoulder, the bare skin there feels warm, homely. Lance traces his thumb on the scar, slowly. "Does it hurt?" He asks."No" Keith replies softly and Lance melts. He looks at Keith and then back at the place where his fingers are touching the wrecked skin. Lance swallows again, the again, and again and again and then leans forward, lips parted, eyes lingering back and forth from Keith's to the skin.He kisses the bare skin there softly and before he can change his mind, run away, remorse and scream, he lets his lips stay there.
