The Fifth Store

Gigi bumps into a clothing rack, sending a few of the dresses on it tumbling to the floor. The movement causes a commotion, the beads on the remaining dresses still hanging up noisily clacking against one another in a racket that might sound nice if it wasn’t so loud. She smooths her hands over the dresses, shushing them as she hangs up the ones that have fallen.“Did you just shush clothing?” A lilting voice rings out from somewhere to her left, and as she turns she’s met with a girl about her age muffling her laughter behind one hand. She seemingly works at the store, dressed in a button down, jeans, and a name tag reading Crystal in surprisingly neat handwriting. She has an undeniable charm to her—maybe it was her abundance of accessories, or her curly mullet?
