Summary
Halilintar laughs and calls him 'Abang Kaizo', something Kaizo later finds out means brother which makes something warm curl in his chest. Kaizo pokes fun at Halilintar for days about it, but eventually ruffles the boy's hair and calls him little brother.
“We’ll always be brothers, kid.” Kaizo says, shoving a cookie into his mouth. “Blood related or not, it doesn’t matter, I’ll always be here for you.”
(He doesn't think Halilintar has ever looked happier.)
Halilintar dies in a car crash at eleven while out with Kaizo, and comes back as red and white lightning in the form of a boy that the (Jujustu) world calls a Cursed Spirit. Here’s how it begins.
