Mike didn’t know what it was about William, but he felt drawn to him. Like he wanted to get to know him, find out what was so important on the paper in front of him, know what brought him to Chicago, and learn his deepest secrets. He chalked it up to his intense love for people-watching, which was essential for an aspiring writer like himself. So he decided to pull out a notebook of his own and begin working on his assignment for his Creative Writing course of developing a character sheet. And if the character began to resemble William in the slightest bit, well, no one had to know. ---Or; Mike is off at college and looking for a place to call his own, which just so happens to be a coffee shop that Will calls his own.
