Summary

Just when Eglantine, Emelius, and the children thought the enchanted battle finally reached its victory, abruptly emerging from the looming shadows were the very soldiers they thought had been defeated, their guns aimed at the adults and their grasp firmly against the children. All while Eglantine watches this unfold, she evokes a do-or-die, split-second bit of magic to save the lives of the children she grew to love. Only afterwards does she realize that with the decision she made, the trajectory of their fate rests on her shoulders, even if it means it was a decision she may live to regret. Based on the UK stage musical. Includes SPOILERS - based on a theory Trigger warning: PTSD and references of war violenceNOTE: An Eglantine-centric character study filled with angst, inner-conflict, but a happy ending
