Waking Dreams

Life is looking up for Myfanwy Caldevwin, Tamriel’s least magical mage. The College of Winterhold is still (unexpectedly) standing, Myfanwy has gone (even more unexpectedly) from misfit to hero, and perhaps most unexpectedly of all, in Skyrim’s miserable frozen north she has found love and acceptance—not least from herself. As Myfanwy embarks upon her second year at Tamriel’s Worst Magic School, she’s looking forward to being a normal student with normal problems like proper citation methodology, finding time to kiss her pretty elf girlfriend and preventing J’zargo from setting fire to everything that can burn (and some things that can’t).

But normal can’t last for long. Because Myfanwy knows a secret—a secret that doesn’t belong to her, and which will take her and the other second-years far away from the shelter of the College’s walls. In a desperate race to rescue her friends, Myfanwy will face both trials and rewards greater than she’s ever known, and grapple with the dire consequences and bitter uncertainty born of her tumultuous first year.

All Myfanwy wants is to know.

But knowledge is a double-edged sword, and one with a slippery hilt.
