Summary
Painstakingly taking his eyes off of Pat, who still had his fist raised and his mouth slightly agape, the architecture student whipped around, only to be met with the sight of another familiar person standing only a couple of meters away. Caught off-guard, Pran's eyes must have widened comically, as he wheezed out: "Korn?!"The architecture student wanted to laugh, because why had he never thought to question where precisely Korn studied? Could neither Korn nor Wai have elaborated on who exactly they were fighting every day, giving names, or even just describing appearances? He'd have to salvage the situation. Parts of Pran's previous fighting response to Pat suddenly seemed to realign themselves, and he contemplated punching Korn instead. He could apologize later to him. Korn wouldn't be too bitter about it. He'd laugh it off. He-He was throwing his hands in the air, exclaiming with a screech: "Babe! Love of my life!"
