Summary
Most people tend to only see how strange Nezuko is, for a demon. Most people forget that as strange as she is for a demon, Tanjiro is equally strange for a slayer. He has never found joy in killing demons. Nezuko's hand in his has kept him from falling into the bitter hate for demons that most slayers seem to share among them. ORIt's easy to lose track of, in between everything else, but Tanjiro had been officially part of the Demon Slaying Corps for less than three months by the time its top ranked members nearly decided to execute him. It was a jarring moment. Unfair and ugly.
