Summary
The year is 1975, and Gerard is running away from their life in New Jersey. Through their life as a waitress at a South Dakota truck stop diner, they find some peace, and distance. Little do they know, a certain long-haul teamster they've grown fond of is running away from the same world. Back in New Jersey, Mikey is left to pick up the pieces of Gerard's abrupt departure. As he attempts to work through his feelings about suddenly flying solo, he gets close to a guitar player involved in the burgeoning New York punk scene.
