Growing Pains

Sam and Gabriel had always been a thing. It wasn’t a defined or constant thing, that anyone had ever spent time thinking about or discussing, but they had always found a way to tumble around each other throughout Sam’s life. Gabriel wasn’t a constant in the Winchesters' life but after Jack started reforming Heaven and the archangel returned for the third time, he quickly became one. What had started as a distraction and angry sex in Sam’s youth had shifted with Gabriel’s near-constant presence as the two shared longer less interrupted interactions and had grown more obscure and wonderful. However, with all of their stops and starts and do-overs, the tall hunter and patchwork archangel weren’t great at communicating or being in a relationship and the bunker’s walls weren’t unfamiliar with the two’s scattered disagreements.
