“ The first time it happened, Midorima was nine years old, taking a stroll through the woods on the outskirts of town. He wasn’t really supposed to be out there, but home was suffocating at times. As the son of a lord, he had access to nearly all the luxuries he could think of, but there were harsh rules, firm expectations, and constant pressure. When he reached the top of a small hill, he took a seat on a fallen tree, mindful of his luxurious robes. That’s when he noticed a collection of small stones on the ground, perfectly shaped to spell out ‘Hi, Shin-chan!’A bead of sweat dripped down his face.”——Midorima has his own personal, annoying god named Takao.
