Grantaire sighed dramatically and flipped over onto her back. Enjolras carefully stepped into the circle and knelt down next to her, flowers clutched tightly to her chest. “What is it?” She asked, plucking one of the pink clovers from the bouquet and tucking it behind Grantaire’s ear. “The flowers are just because I love you. Madam Maudit was selling them under the Pont Marie again.” “Grantaire.” Enjolras hissed and took the flower back before dropping the whole bouquet on the floor. “You literally call her Madam Maudit because she curses the flowers .” “Ah—she likes me.” Grantaire said without opening her eyes, “and you know magic isn’t real.” ;;Just because Grantaire has a witch for a girlfriend, it doesn't mean she has to believe in magic.
