Summary

Stannis Baratheon has driven the Boltons out from Winterfell and back to the Dreadfort but at great loss. As his army recuperates at the Stark's ancestral seat, wolves rise with winter's coming. A boy is named king, a girl takes the burden of her name from another who has wrongfully suffered its weight, and a man returns from the dead in a new image. Each calls upon friends and allies to reclaim the North in the name of House Stark, but while they may join common cause in slaying the Boltons, will they be able to hold a North divided by the greatest question of all: if they can beat the Boltons, who rules next? (or basically *my* version of the Stark succession crisis that I hope to come in TWOW)// Do you know what dogs do to wolves? Arya is a wolf, and the Hound is dead. That’s what dogs do.Die.“Ramsay will die,” Arya says, sweet and tender as a lover’s whisper. “Littlefinger will die. Anyone who forced you to be me, changed you to be me; anyone who took a piece of you thinking you were me will die. This I swear to you.”
