Summary

Glass shattering is what woke me up that night, what formed this entire story. If I hadn’t woken up, if glass hadn’t broken my window that night... I can’t say any of this would have ever happened. I would never have met the boy of my dreams, a boy I could never have. Maybe if the glass hadn’t shattered, I wouldn’t be on this rooftop right now, standing at the ledge. Maybe I wouldn’t be crying my eyes out like a disgrace, at mercy to a man I can never love. But the rooftop cliche isn’t where a story begins, it’s where one ends. So, we’ll go back to that night. The night that started everything. The night that I, Finney Blake, met Robin Arellano.
