Faith in the Dark

Sentenced to death for a petty crime, rimworld thief and scavenger Tadese Gebredamet is given a second chance in exchange for what seems like a simple task. When he finds out the task involves spying on his best friend that he parted from years ago, he desperately hopes that there is a way they can put the past behind. When they reunite, all initially seems well. But as Tadese spends more time with her, he realizes that the past has not been forgotten - it is alive and well, and more dangerous than ever before. As faith and loyalty waver in the dark, Tadese realizes that there is no such thing as an "easy way out" - because out on the rim, there is a price to be paid for everything.
