Chapter 19 - Silence

"Ushijima-san! Hello!"  Wakatoshi's shoulders rose as he took in a deep, long breath. He sat upright in his seat, posture nice and proper as the overwhelming weight in the pit of his stomach make room for the sweet lungful of air. He looked up at the plain ceiling, letting his head rest on the back of the chair before an exhalation was finally released. He could feel the exhaustion, frustration and especially the hefty pressure the whole week had laid on his back wafting along.  A brief, more softer sigh immediately followed after as his response finally registered through.  "Good evening, Goshiki."
