Summary
Viserys has denied Daemon's request for Rhaenyra's hand because he believes that he defiled his daughter. However the night after he receives a visit from his parents who reveal to him that not only is he mistaken in his assumptions but what will happen if he keeps them apart. Forced to face the consequences of his actions he decides to allow Daemon and Rhaenyra to wed. It may be against his better judgement but he would be a fool to ignore a sign from the Gods, especially as they gave him more time with his parents.
