The Meaning of Family

Whenever Edward tried to remember the face of his mother, the most prominent memory was the face of that thing that he and Al had created only three years prior.When Ed thought of his brother, he didn’t think of the seven foot tall suit of armor that he’d trapped his brother’s soul in. He thought of short blonde hair and golden eyes, both the same color as his own.The one person that Ed downright refused to think about was his bastard of a father, especially since his clearest memory was of Hohenheim glaring down at him before turning his back on him and Al, and walking out the front door of their home.
