Summary
“You should lay down for a bit, we have the whole rest of the day,” Shouto suggests and Bakugou clenches his jaw but nods.
To Shouto’s surprise, instead of getting up to go back to the bedroom like he thought Bakugou would, he just turns, nudges Shouto a bit and tosses a throw pillow onto his lap, and plops his head down on it.
The fire in his chest burns brighter and he can’t help but smile down at Bakugou’s face, his eyes closed once more and completely vulnerable under Shouto’s care and touch. The unwavering trust he has in Shouto to have his back when he’s not at his very best never fails to leave him stunned. It’s always a privilege to be allowed to see this private side of Bakugou.
Getting snowed in up in the mountains with Bakugou, in a cozy cabin in the woods no less, is the best thing that's happened to Shouto in a long time. And Bakugou agrees.
