The words fell from Tommy’s mouth late at night, the confessions pouring from his lips as he laid beside Ash, telling his lover exactly what he wanted. And Ash was partial to these whims, as he so often was with all of Tommy’s yearnings. He swore in soft words that they could do it all over again, though under the cover of secret; he promised they could book a flight to America, renting a car and driving across the east coast highways, searching for nothing and enjoying every moment of being lost.They could explore that part of the country, and leave the rest unturned to be discovered at a later date, a promise of more to come.
