It’s been a few weeks since Vecna was -apparently- defeated. An uncomfortable quiet takes hold in Hawkins. But “quiet” in Hawkins is always relative, and soon, weird things start happening again.--The tentacles fluttered aggressively and then wrapped themselves tightly around Steve’s hand, wrist and fingers. With each successive pulsing squeeze, the spikes seemed to grow harder and press deeper into his skin. Steve gritted his teeth, tried to keep his hand still and looked at the others. They all seemed too stunned to move.He snapped the fingers of his left hand at Eddie. “Come on, fire. Eddie – gimme your lighter!”Eddie frantically patted down his pockets. “I’m looking, I’m looking, dammit!”--
