Summary
I remember, at some point, rambling to one of my friends about how I felt that when confronted with Victor's death, Aesop as a character would act somewhat like Lewis Creed. On the surface, these characters are polar opposites (Lewis being a doctor who tries to prevent people from dying, and Aesop being a serial murderer that encourages people's deaths,) I feel like when put in a situation in which he could not control whether someone lives or dies, Aesop would react somewhat like Lewis in that his delusions surrounding his belief that he can control death would eventually lead him to his own self-destruction.
