Tommy drops the pole at his paws, licking over his jowls. The man stares on, mouth gaping, hands still grasping uselessly at the air where he had once held said pole.Tommy steps forward, once, twice, driving him back at an even pace until the pole is rolling against his back paws and far out of reach from people currently sporting opposable thumbs. The man's face has gone white, and Tommy imagines himself a terrible sight, he can taste iron- he must have bitten down too hard or pulled too sharply- something enough to see his tongue sliced over his teeth and blood now dripping through his fangs. And then.

And then-

“Hmm,” The vampire hums, curly brown fringe falling over golden eyes- that, Tommy knows, if he were not in his fur would be crimson- and it looks away, back to the man caught up in its grasp like a fish in a net. “You should be more careful. Don’t you know cornered animals bite?”It doesn’t know, Tommy realizes, watching on incredulously as the thing disregards him completely, it thinks I’m a dog.Its nose is pressed so flush to the juncture of the man’s neck that it probably can't catch the scent of wolf in the air. Blood crazy bastard.
