An Awful Game of Cat and

Stanley is running from destiny - just like he's been doing since being spat out of the Parable. Somewhere out there, he has a soulmate. Stanley knows where they are. They know where he is. But he's been running, and running, and running - so fast that he's never even heard their voice. It's a god-awful idea to run from them, even as he searches for the one person he really does want to find, and he knows it. He knows it's hurting them, and he knows it's hurting him - but he can't stop.Meanwhile...The Narrator has spent seven years chasing his soulmate, running on a precious few convictions. But those are running out the farther his fated partner runs away. He's starting to take what he thinks is the hint - and accept that he may never find Stanley, either. He can't stop without all but destroying himself...but he might just end up unable to continue. Not a damn thing has changed for seven years, and it doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.Somehow, this pattern has to break - but in whose favor?
