Summary
Tommy stands from behind the tree, knees aching from their prolonged position. He turns around to actually start what he came to do when his foot gets snagged on something. Looking down, there’s a rope around his ankle. Thinking it was merely someone’s trash left behind, he yanks his foot to free it.Before he knows what’s happening, the rope tightens around his ankle and yanks him off his feet. His head nearly bashes into the ground as he’s flipped and dragged upwards—then he stops, eyes wide and body tense, and looks down at the ground now fifteen feet below him.
