Summary
Bilbo Baggins is your long time friend, having met when the two of you were only saplings. Over the years, you were there for him throughout everything, through happy times and through hardships. You were each other’s rock, and with this quality time shared, it was only inevitable that you were to fall head over heels for him. One morning, you join him for some pipe tobacco at Bag End, practicing your smoke rings. However, a stranger comes around, offering the two of you a proposal, an invitation to join him on an adventure. Immediately, Bilbo is off put but you can’t help but feel intrigued; it’s this feeling that propels you into a wild night filled with high-spirited dwarves, a story of reclaiming a mountain, and the thought of leaving behind everything you know just to help them.(Or: Hobbit!Reader’s POV on Bilbo meeting Gandalf and the dwarves for the first time.)
