The Taste of Solitude

At Hyakkou Private Academy, two standout students are Mary Saotome, a transfer student with a mysterious background, and Ririka Momobami, the student council vice president from a wealthy family. The two meet in a high-stakes gambling match, where Mary impresses Ririka with her skills and is later asked to join the student council. As they spend more time together, they develop feelings for each other, but obstacles such as Ririka's family's views on relationships and Mary's secret past prevent them from acting on these feelings. However, they continue to grow closer and eventually confess their love for each other, resulting in a romantic kiss.
