Confessions over ginger

Mina's lungs ached and her chest heaved up and down trying to catch some of the cold air and get it in her system. She ran up the icy metal stairs making sure not to slip on the thin layer of snow covering most of the bottom steps as her gloved hand held the railing tightly.Breathing became harder and harder as she reached the last step when she made it to the second floor of the apartment building. She stopped at the first door and knocked rapidly against the wood.Not long later, a disheveled Hitoshi answered the door. His hair was just as messy as it usually was and his sweater was slightly wrinkled. He took in her appearance; rosey cheeks, chapped lips with heavy breaths and a shaking chest. "Oh my gosh, Mina, did you run here?" His brows knitted together. "Are you crazy or something?" (That title is the worst but I didn't have any other ideas 😭)
