the bonds that tie us

Logan is excited to meet his soulmate. after all, there is a great deal of scientific study that is yet to be done on the subject, and how better to study it than to experience it?Patton loves love, and despite the looks some people give him as they see the black mark grazed across his knuckles, a quiet condemnation of what his soulbond must be, he trusts in his soulmates even as he is yet to meet them.Virgil has enough to worry about in his life without adding soulmates into the mix, it seems only natural he makes friends with one of the only boys in his year without a single soul mark.Roman knows he will never have a soulmate, that despite his love for epic romance and fantasy, he will never share that bond. he tells himself his story shall be so incredible, fate itself could not have woven it for him.Janus was born with half his face marred by soulmate's marks. not just his eye but over his cheek and brow. some people meet his gaze with pity, and others with open wariness about the kind of person who would be rejected even by their own soulmate.very few of their stories go quite how they expect them to.
