Summary

Now that the truth is just a rule that you can bendYou crack the whip, shape-shift and trick the past again-The truth is a fickle thing, so pliable, so subjective. Regulus could argue that there isn't one singular truth, that it can't exist. Every person has their own version of it, including him. The truth, through Regulus' eyes is this: Sirius abandoned him when he fucked off to become a rockstar. His band, "The Marauders", were his brother's downfall. And James Potter ruined Regulus' life. That is Regulus' truth, his reality. Others might disagree, tell the story differently, but that doesn't matter. After all, Regulus is the journalist, he's writing the story, the one that everyone will be reading. A story about the biggest band in the world, about their rise, their disappearance and their comeback, about the glory and the downfall. And at the centre of it will be the villain of the story, the villain of Regulus' life, James fucking Potter.-Or, Regulus is a music journalist and is hired to write a piece on "The Marauders", his estranged brother's band.
