He looks up and says, “Hi… it’s me, Eddie… but I’m sure you already know that.”
He inhales deeply and continues. “I know I haven’t talked to you in a long time but please… please don’t take Buck away from me. I thought I had more time but after tonight…” He wipes some of the tears from his eyes and hiccups on a sob. “It seemed like you were going to take him away from me when I saw his body hanging from the aerial. It’s not fair because I believe you sent me to L.A. so I could find him and that’s why I’m asking you to please let him live.”
He lowers his head and whispers, “Listen, ok… I love him so much and I believe he loves me too and that’s why I need more time so I can tell him how much I love him. Me and him, Evan that is… we’ve been partners for 5 years now and he’s been co-parenting my son, Chris with me and I know you already know that too.”
