Stops For No One

The prospect of being transmigrated to another universe seemed foreign to Rinka, but she understood the appeal. Throwing away your current boring life in trade for a new one, in a more fantastical universe where it would be interesting every step of the way. There was fun to be found in that. She could see why people had wanted it, but she had always been the type to focus on the realistic side of things. Transmigration seemed scary and complicated, and she certainly didn't want to be thrown into a reality she didn't understand nor like. But a churning feeling in her gut forced her to face that reality. The reality that used to be just fiction she'd read on paper, that was now staring her dead in the face.
