It made Nina feel alive, like she would live forever. She imagined it was much like how Kirigan felt. There was a fire burning deep in her gut. It was a flame that had been burning since the beginning of time. It was something that would stay until the world ended. There was nothing in this world that could put this flame out. It would keep burning, even as her body crumbled and collapsed around it. This flame, this little part of her, would live forever.She was giddy on the pure power of it.Someone else was walking along that passageway. She let them. She wanted them to see what she'd done, what she could do. She wanted them to know how easy this was for her. How the destruction came easy as breathing, easy as keeping this flame alive. or: what i think would happen if the darkling was forced to take parem and used his amplifier powers on someone. nina just so happened to be in the vicinity.(not darkling sympathetic btw)
