Summary
Hawkins kinda changes with the construction of Starcourt Mall. Robin pities whatever company thought it was a good idea to put it in sleepy old Hawkins, of all places, but she can’t deny it brings a lot of excitement and buzz to the town, the only thing anyone will talk about nowadays. Robin herself doesn’t like it all that much – too bright and poppy and peppy, plus it captures the attention of all of Robin’s obnoxious bullies which is reason enough to steer clear from them and their flashy bird and cheetah and lemur daemons and shit.
But, the thing is, Robin is also broke as all shit and the mall is all good with taking in teenagers with no real work experience, and so she caves. It’s free money, after all, and in Robin’s case, as she decided to go with Scoops ahoy, free ice cream.
Robin and Sherwin agree that this summer is going to be horrifically boring.That changes when she realizes she's going to be working with stupid 'King Steve' and his stupid wolf daemon.
