Summary
It always struck me how nonchalant Kazuhira was in the tape regarding his encounter with the Mist Unit, undoubtedly one of the most devastating experiences of his entire life. It made me want to explore what was really beneath the surface of his words, what he really went through. This was kind of a therapy piece, I stopped writing fanfiction after I was nearly killed in a hit-and-run in July of last year, I was left unable to walk for a long time. When I got out of hospital, I played MGSV all day every day and it continues to help me explore my own pain.
