Summary
The time is the 1920's and prohibition is in full effect, banning any drinks with even a half ounce of alcohol. Soon after, alcohol drinking rose as illegal groups skyrocketed to obtain them. Many of said groups used the rise of jazz clubs to both disguise themselves and as a base. One of these many places was an underground nightclub in a less-known district of New York, Club Sunshine.Due to the nature of the world, 16-year-old Sunny Suzuki and mostly similarly aged friends are also trained and forced into taking part in the underworld.
