Not only was Gabriel Agreste arrested, but everyone who worked with him, including Nathalie and Lila.Unfortunately, it didn't have the happy ending that Marinette wished for.As they were all being led away in front of a crowd, Lila managed to take the gun of a police officer and shot Marinette. Even when Lila was disarmed and thrown to the ground by five police officers shortly thereafter, Marinette was still fatally wounded.With her last strength, she transferred the title of the miraculous guardians to Su Han, who was also nearby.Her family and friends could only watch as Marinette died before their eyes.The Kwamis, however, could not stand idly by and decided to act.
