Summary
The sky wasn’t blue. The earth wasn’t round. These things were fairly obvious to anyone who looked. The sky was black, and when it got loud, dust would fall from it, and the earth was very clearly a cube. Or something similar. They were chained up in the center of the room, so they couldn’t tell exactly how many sides there were. They couldn’t reach out and feel the earth around them. It would help if there was a sun in the sky, but there wasn’t because the sky is black and made of rock and the sun isn’t a star, it’s a myth. A pipe dream. They thought it was a stupid thing to lie about.---This isn't going to make sense if you haven't read *Don't Let Me Forget*.
