Summary
Steve's panicked, he’s been above the surface a few handful of times, but never like this- never ripped from the water. He’s spread out against a hardwood floor, coughing the water out of his lungs, too many pairs of eyes on him as he scrambles to get back over the side before rough hands weave into his hair, pulling him back roughly, “Where do you think you’re going?”He yelps, his eyes clench shut, hands struggling to hold him up with the tight hold this person has on him. A voice rings out, “Wait- Eddie- let him go!”
