Summary
In the early days of Spencer's employment at the BAU, his private life was strictly sealed under CONFIDENTIAL stamped in big, red letters, and stored carefully in the back of a filing cabinet. He’s learned over his 24 years of life that sometimes it’s okay to keep things to himself and that it’s okay to pass by unnoticed if the alternative is alienation and abuse.Of course, being unnoticed in a group of seven is difficult, so he decided to just not share his personal life with the rest of the team. Now, four years after Spencer joined the BAU, his personal life has had the CONFIDENTIAL removed and is now more of an unassuming document at the bottom of his desk that he takes out when reorganizing. His issue is that these coworkers aren’t usually the ones reorganizing his desk and that they have all become less coworkers and more close friends and close friends usually know whether one of their friends likes dicks, or for that matter, even has one of their own.--OR: Spencer unexpectedly comes out to Derek as trans and Derek is the best older brother Spencer could've asked for.
