The Butterfly Effect

The red sky and the sound of destruction is all that exists around me. Did you notice anything strange about that? Well if you didn't, I'll tell you. There's no screaming.No war cries. No cries for help. There is nothing... because there is no one left, except me. I'm the only one alive here. Maybe even the only one alive in the whole world. It's ironic isn't it? I caused all this, and I'm the only survivor. But what's the point if I've already lost everything. I lost my family, my friends, and those who without knowing me put all their trust in me. I lost my sword too.There is no one and nothing left to fight for. My home no longer exists. My world no longer exists.I sit down on the ground and take out the photograph I have kept for so long. But as I do, a small notebook falls out of my pocket. It is Donatello's logbook, which I also kept as a whim, to have a memory of him.I place the photo between the pages, and turn to the first page, where Donnie wrote everything from the moment the apocalypse began.I would like to go back to that day. I would like to warn them. I would like to save them. ... or at least, I'd like to see them one last time.If only I had known.... If only ...
